Champion Tutors – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Champion Tutors. By enrolling in our programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which ensure consistent and fair learning experiences for all students. These terms apply to all tutoring services (group and private), delivered in-person or online. If the student is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must accept these terms on their behalf.


1. Enrolment and Payment

Group Class Fees
  • Group classes are billed per term.
  • You may choose to pay:
    • Upfront via bank transfer or Stripe, or
    • Through a monthly or fortnightly auto-debit payment plan.
  • Parents using auto-debit must give at least 15 days’ written notice to cancel or pause future payments.
  • Families enrolling mid-term will be offered a pro-rata fee based on the number of classes remaining in the term.
Private Tutoring (1-on-1) Sessions
  • Private sessions may be paid:
    • Weekly, or
    • Upfront for a block of sessions (e.g., 4 or 8 weeks), as agreed during enrolment.
  • Payment methods include bank transfer, Stripe, or auto-debit.
  • Non-payment may result in temporary suspension of sessions.

2. Sibling Discounts

We offer the following discounts for group class enrolments:

  • 10% discount for the second child
  • 15% discount for the third child
  • 20% discount for the fourth child and beyond

Discounts apply automatically once multiple siblings are enrolled.

3. Referral Discounts

  • If you refer a new family who enrols for a full term, both you and the referred family receive a $30 discount on that term’s fees.
  • For each additional referral, you receive a $40 discount on the following term.
  • Referral credits apply to term payments only and do not stack within the same term.
  • Both families must notify Champion Tutors to activate the referral discount.

4. Missed Classes and Make-Up Policy

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if your child will miss a class.
  • We will do our best to offer an alternate class during the same term, subject to availability.
  • If an alternate class is not possible, up to two (2) missed classes can be carried forward into the next term.
  • Missed classes without notice, or declined reschedules, will not be refunded or credited.

5. Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Refunds are not issued for change of mind or missed classes.
  • If Champion Tutors cancels a session (e.g., due to tutor illness), we will reschedule or offer a credit.

6. Student Behaviour Expectations

Students are expected to:

  • Attend all classes regularly and punctually
  • Be respectful to tutors and peers
  • Participate actively and complete any assigned work

Ongoing disruptive behaviour may result in suspension from class following parent consultation.

7. Use of Learning Materials

All worksheets and materials provided by Champion Tutors are protected by copyright. These materials are for personal educational use only and must not be copied, shared, or redistributed without written permission.

8. Communication

We communicate with families through SMS, email, and WhatsApp. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that contact information is kept up to date to avoid missing important updates

9. Legal & Administrative Terms

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.
  • Champion Tutors complies with Australian Consumer Law.
  • While we support students in achieving their best, we do not guarantee specific academic results, as outcomes depend on multiple factors including individual effort.
  • Champion Tutors reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services in cases of repeated non-payment, behavioural concerns, or violation of these terms.
  • These terms may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or SMS.
  • We take care to protect personal information and use it only for educational and administrative purposes.
